Hello! My name is Jeremie aka Gurvan, it’s my middle name of Celtic origin meaning “very passionate”. I am from Brittany and moved to Canada when I turned 20.
I started as a Freelance Photojournalist in 2007 in Quebec and used my graphic design to improve and offer a wide array of Photo coverage for Web and Print.
“Gurvan Photo” is not only my Photography work but also Graphic Design, Video Prod., Print Medias, Light Tech/Design, Video Mapping, Tattoo and Technical Drafting. All Skills of “Light”.
Starting my music event journey at the age of 17 by creating a non-profit for local bands, managing, planning and advertising them, I then moved to Canada at age of 20 where I became freelance photographer for sports centers, bars, nightclubs, all sorts of events and commercial work. This has lead me to get published by national and local press and hired by major brands and companies across Canada.
In 2015 I got hired has Light Tech. and VJ for Canada’s new top Nightclub owned by the country’s biggest music festival. I live now in the mountains where my photography work has been occasional as my Carpentry Business is my main focus these days. I am however still available for Photography work, Editorial and Graphic Design, hoping to spend more time writing soon…
